On Wednesday, 8/17 at 8pm, Charles will be performing an all new feature-length sketch comedy show at the Comedy Central Stage. The show is absolutely free but requires reservations, which can be made by calling: 323.960.5519
It’s been almost a year since our last live feature-length show, so come spend the evening with us as we walk around the stage and say things specifically engineered to illicit laughter. Things like: “that’s what I’m saying”, “gender is a construct”, and “can we please, please not do this sketch?” (all of which, in context, we assure you, are great and funny lines).
Details below. Also, on this Facebook event.
Hope to see you there!

We’ve written a brand new one-act play debuting in the Los Angeles Science Fiction Fest. Our piece, “Randomized Skin” premiers this Thursday, May 5th in Program A of the festival, with additional performances May 6th, 7th, 8th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 29th. The inaugural run stars Nelson Ascencio, Jordan Black, Shane Brady, and Alden Ray and is directed by Steve Kaplan.
The festival is full of great acts on both Programs, and there’s all kinds of fabulous stuff happening all month, including film screenings, short fiction readings, and the like. Check out the Sci-Fest website for ticket, lineup, and scheduling info, and we hope to see you around the ACME Theater throughout May for the fest!

Wowing crowds from L.A. to Edmonton to Edinburgh, Moby Alpha pays preposterous homage to classic sci-fi and bombastic literature, with nods to Alien, Star Trek, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and myriad others. Moby Alpha tells the story of a mad captain’s quest for revenge on the amorphous energy cloud that temporarily took his leg. More simply, Moby Alpha is Moby-Dick in space – but funny. The show is performed in an entirely dark theater, with the only light emanating from the duo’s custom-built, million-color, LED space helmets – creating a unique, otherworldly aesthetic. No flashlights necessary. Moby Alpha is a space-age comic romp unlike anything you’ve seen on land, the high seas, or deep space.
Produced by PM2 Entertainment.
